About Me

I've been tinkering with photography since I was about 10 yrs old.  I can remember saving my allowance and doing chores to be able to pay for film and processing for pictures I took.  I first started using an old 35 mm Kodak camera my father had when he was in the Navy during WW II.  Eventually I bought a little Petri range finder camera and when I first joined the Navy I bought my first SLR.  It was a Yashica that I kept for about a year before I moved up to a Mamiya-Sekor 1000.  I kept it for about two years and moved up to the top of the line Nikon F2 and a series of Nikon lenses that I kept for about five years.
